In the creation of my CD cover I watched my music video through and found significant parts. One to do with my star image motif but also stand out images within the video itself that you would remember. I took screen grabs of these images and edited them ready for the CD cover. This is creating something new with original images from my own work. For example i print screened the image of the two actors together, firstly representing the relationship between the two but also just to follow the continuity between all of my pieces.
In the actual filming of our video we had to face the problem of not having a tripod. So we had to find new positions for the camera to sit. We placed the camera on the floor, on walls and on or in many different places to gain the steady shot we needed. An example is seen in the video when in the bowling alley we had different still shots, with the camera sitting on a table, on the floor and on top of the metal bowling frame (which we didn't use in the final cut)
We gained ideas from the video we looked at previously (the cinnamon chasers video). With the ideas of covering the lens and following onto the scene with fades in ad out. This was a link we made between our work and the others work. This is seen with the bit when the mug of tea comes over the lens and goes to the next shot somewhere else, a clever transition.
